Q: How much money
can I get?
That all depends on the type of grant you
are applying for and your actual needs. Some grants have
a $5,000 limit, some have a $500,000 limit, and some don't
even have a limit!
Q: What can I use the
Grant Money for?
You can use the money for numerous purposes.
How you spend it will depend on the type of grant you've
received. You may want to develop an invention, continue
or change your career path through education, work at your
artistic vocation, or simply obtain help with living expenses.
You may want to expand or renovate a facility, purchase
machinery, equipment, fixtures, and leasehold improvements.
You may want to fund receivables or augment working capital.
With compelling reason, you can use it to reduce existing
debt, or you can use it for seasonal lines of credit. You
can use it to construct commercial buildings or purchase
land or buildings. The possibilities are virtually endless!
Q: What if I have bad
credit?
Whether you have bad credit, or have filed
for bankruptcy in the past, you are still entitled to
your fair share of government money. There are no credit
cheaks, no collateral required and no co-signers. These
are grants which never have to be paid back. As long as
you are a tax paying U.S. citizen you have nothing to
worry about.
Q: Can I receive free
money for health care?
Absolutely. Included in the GrantsFinder.us
Guide is an entire section devoted specifically to healthcare.
People are often surprised at how much money is available
for healthcare. For example, how many people know that many
of the big Pharmaceutical companies participate in a free
prescription program for low-income Americans?
Q: I need money for
personal use. Is free money available, and where can I find
it?
The list of programs and grants available
for personal use is extensive. To name a few, grants are
available for home improvements or buying a new home. You
can also find free moneyfor such things as rent, mortgage,
or car payments, groceries, childcare, general living expenses,
academic tutoring, school supplies, clothing, legal services,
debts, summer camp, music and art
lessons, senior citizen programs, and replacement of valuables
lost in
a natural disaster. Many cities have immediate funds available
for personal use in small amounts. We recommend you contact
local agencies first. You should also consider converting
your home to an office, which will qualify you for more
grants. Moreover, it can also provide you with tax benefits.
